There are 27 basic materials the weapons and armors of Jade Fighter Arena can be made out of. These materials cost different amounts of money and vary in how powerful they are and what they look like. Here's a list of them so you know what to expect while shopping for new equipment:

Beyond these materials though there are five special materials. They are very rare but can show up at any time in the stores. Obtianing a weapon made of one of these super-secret materials will add a special "????????" attack you can perform which will cause one of several effects based on the material!

| A curious substance which emits an aura that freezes time. If an opponent is struck hard enough with a weapon made of this material, their body will lose time-sync and die! |

Mercury | 30 | 125.00 |
| Items made of Mercury are kept solid thanks to magical threading which emits temperatures near absolute zero. Subsequently, hitting an enemy with a Mercury weapon can cause them to freeze and shatter in a single blow! |

SunStone | 31 | 160.00 |
| Made from rocks which were once believed to come from Heaven, but have later been proven to be meteorites infused with special properties by solar flares. Occasionally, a SunStone weapon will release its energy and incinerate its victim! |

White | 32 | 200.00 |
| A substance so powerful and so loaded with energy that its appearence is nothing short of pure white. Striking a target with a weapon made of this substance will occasionally cause a molecular chain reaction, completely incinerating the victim! |
There are also rumours of an incredibly rare material that uses your life energy to cause damage. Of course, these are only rumours...
