I don't really go into a whole lot of depth about the system, I mostly wanted to show how it works and what gameplay is like on it. If you want lots of in-depth coverage, Clint Basinger of Lazy Game Reviews has an excellent episode of his webshow devoted to the system. You can find it here: http://lazygamereviews.blip.tv/file/4701704
Yes, many games released in the 80's actually had separate Tandy and EGA releases. This complicates trying to get Tandy-specific versions running on modern systems because nearly all of the methods out there for getting past disk-based copy protection depends on having the EGA release. This is why I have yet to do a full review of Action Fighter and Test Drive, among others.
Apologies if this filler seems a little boring. I've already got my next filler planned out and it's gonna be much more informative and less me trying to waste a few moments of an otherwise extremely busy week. :P
