Ancient DOS Games --- Episode 50

2000 Shareware Games CD

Part 1 / Part 2

Additional Information and Corrections:

  • Sorry for the first four minutes being kinda boring. Those fades were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slow... x_x;;;

  • Why did I pick fractions in Treasure Hunt Math??? Urg... Personally, I hate fractions. Trigonometry? Easy. Exponents? Easy. Long Division? Easy. Geometry? Easy. Probability? Easy. Fractions? EVIL! D:

  • The other thing too is that, as a programmer, I RARELY work with fractions; my mind is tuned to decimal values.

  • You may've noticed during the last game, Moraff's Pinball, there was a self-promotion in the game for "800x600" games coming in 1989. Steve Moraff was one of the first people to make games using the special proprietary high-resolution modes various computers had long before the VESA standards came around and as a result, many of his later games supported a huge variety of graphics modes, including 1024x768 256-colour modes!
